Your files stay on your device
When you open a .pub file or any other file in the editor, it is read by code running in your web browser. Your files and their contents are never sent to our servers or to anyone else. Work in progress is saved in your browser's own storage on your device, and you can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Information we collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use this only in aggregate, to understand traffic and fix problems. We don't ask for your name, email address or an account.
Advertising
Our information pages, and one small space in the editor sidebar, show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Fonts
The editor loads document fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts are downloaded. The rest of the site uses fonts served from our own domain.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
